Preamble

We the people of the University of Maryland, in order to form a more perfect campus, establish awareness, insure security of students and faculty alike, provide tranquility for its common members, promote protection, and secure the safety and freedom of the general public, do ordain and establish this Constitution for Harmony and Wellbeing for the University of Maryland.
